I designed this 6 x 3m flower bed to provide an attractive view from the kitchen window and produce cut flowers. It needed to be low maintenance so traditional rows of flowers grown each year from seed were not an option. It includes perennial flower and foliage plants that provide stems for cutting from Spring to Autumn. Recycled paving slabs provide easy access while weeds are kept to a minimum by a thick layer of mulch and dense planting.
